Location: Victory Farms Logistics Centre – Nairobi and Meru
As the Warehouse Associate at Victory Farms, you will play a vital role in our Warehouse operations, reporting directly to the Logistics Team Lead. Your primary responsibility will be to support receiving, dispatch, coordination, ensuring the efficient movement of VF finished goods (fish), feeds or other materials as well as supervising staffs in your shift (cleaners, casuals, drivers and fleet leads).
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Receive and offload incoming deliveries, verifying quantities and quality against invoices.
- Oversee the loading of trucks, ensuring all transactions are accurately documented and processed through the system.
- Promptly report any discrepancies, damages, or quality issues identified during receiving or dispatch.
- Accurately input received items into the ERPN system in real-time and proactively communicate any receiving challenges to relevant stakeholders.
- Organize and store inventory efficiently, adhering to established procedures and optimizing warehouse space.
- Implement and maintain a robust FIFO (First-In, First-Out) inventory rotation system, including regular monitoring and recording of cold room temperatures to ensure product integrity.
- Process inventory adjustments in the ERPN system accurately and in a timely manner, maintaining up-to-date stock records.
- Monitor inventory levels continuously, providing regular stock status updates and alerts to management to support effective inventory planning.
- Ensure all received and dispatched products comply with Quality SOPs and company standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment, adhering to all health, safety, and hygiene protocols
Skills and qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, warehouse management, or a related role.
- Proven experience with ERP systems, route planning and logistics management.
- Strong understanding of logistics, supply chain management, and transportation processes.
- Experience with fleet management, including maintenance scheduling and fuel management.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and other relevant software tools.
