Location: Victory Farms Logistics Centre – Nairobi
As a key member of the Sales team in the Operations department, you will oversee securing our Kenyan Fish Market Share by keeping Victory Farms compliant with city and county regulations at the branch level operations. You will be responsible for maximizing our market footprint through execution of our expansion plans, crafting data driven plans and justifying those plans to the upper management prior to implementation.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Certification Management:
- Successfully obtain and maintain all required certificates for branch operations, ensuring compliance with local and national regulations.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders involved in the certification process, ensuring all engagements are transparent and approved by your reporting officer.
Branch Operations Support:
- Ensure branches have the necessary resources for smooth operations, coordinating with the procurement team to provide a supply cadence based on branch-level utilization.
- Guarantee timely delivery of resources to prevent any operational disruptions.
Business Expansion:
- Collaborate with your reporting supervisor to explore new business development opportunities by scouting and evaluating potential locations for expansion.
- Identify and secure prime locations for existing branches to enhance visibility, foot traffic, and sales.
Reporting and Budget Tracking:
- Maintain and update tracking files with budget analysis and branch operation costs, ensuring adherence to budget constraints.
- Innovate to find cost-saving measures through detailed analysis of resource utilization by branches, regions, and managers.
Skills and qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field
- Proven Experience (4+ years) in operations management, compliance, or a similar role, preferably in a multi-branch environment.
- Experience in business development and expansion strategies
- Strong understanding of regulatory compliance and certification processes.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in budget tracking and cost analysis.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Proactive and innovative thinker, always seeking ways to improve processes and reduce costs.
- Strong ethical standards and commitment to transparency and compliance.
